The Conference “Entheogenic Humanities” was organized by Prof. Jeffrey Kripal (Rice University), Prof. Charles Stang (Harvard Divinity School) and Prof. Wouter Hanegraaff (University of Amsterdam). It gathered an international group of scholars and artists from the United States, Canada, France, Netherlands, Israel, Iran, and Russia in order to discuss the relationship between counter-culture, ethno-religions, new anthropology and different proposals to reform “the Humanities” and broaden their scope to another form of cultural interaction.
