This workshop explores the famous Yogasūtras of Patañjali, the way in which they have been read and interpreted in different times and contexts, and how the multiple readings of it uninterruptedly reshape the meaning and scope of its contents. The complex procedure of interpreting the Yogasūtras begins with the commentary tradition in India and is filled with tensions of ideas and ways of living that are reflected in the text itself and present a challenge to the reader.
