In this workshop, Alain Daniélou’s Musical Dialogue, Celso Cintra will deal with Daniélou’s musicological project, mainly with the difference between Indian and Western music and the traditional background of Indian classical music. The workshop will also approach the metaphysical understanding of sound, the influence of sound combinations on emotions, and Daniélou’s critique of Western music.
