The Tantric features of Alain Daniélou Shaivism and his insights into the powers of Nature inspire us to reflect on a dimension of Nature that has been excluded for centuries in the Western tradition. The aim of this workshop is to introduce another approach to Nature, rendering other world-configurations visible and accessible through tantric and shamanic elements in Daniélou’s thought, as developed in different traditions. This approach entails theory and practice, reflection and experience. It can lead us to a profound critique of our own (universalist) certainties and to a different attitude to life itself.
