Due to the Covid pandemic, ALAIN DANIÉLOU FOUNDATION’S FORUM 2020 had to shift to virtual modality and became ALAIN DANIÉLOU FOUNDATION VIRTUAL ENCOUNTERS 2020. The interactions with Shipibo Shaman Roger López Suipino and Spanish anthropologist Santiago López-Pavillard were focused on the Amerindian traditions of upper Amazonas and the transformation of indigenous shamanism as a result of the urbanization and modernization process. This discussion is closely related to the “ecological/transcultural” program of FIND Research and Intellectual Dialogue, whose main goal is to deepen and rethink Alain Daniélou’s defense of religions of Nature in the context of the anthropocene.
