“The Lament of the Ganges river Goddess”– a musical pièce written by the composer and Alain Daniélou Foundation grant recipient Riccardo Nova – narrates the episode of the Indian epic The Mahābhārata (book XIII, ch. 40, v. 18-25) in which the Goddess Gangā laments the death of Bishma.
This work was commented and sung live by Dott. Giulio Geymonat as part of the event “Alberto Camus and the Hungarian Revolution”, promoted by the Accademia delle Belle Arti of Brera.
