Reset DoC organises seminars annually in Delhi and Venice on issues regarding Indian culture, politics and other related areas. In 2014 the seminar “Policies for Minorities: between affirmative action and majority populism” was held from the 6 – 8th November 2014. The conference on the first day was held at Padua University, while the last two days were held at the Giorgio Cini Foundation in Venice. During this period, an exhibition “Lights of India” with photographs by Alain Daniélou and Raymond Burnier was held for the entire duration of the Seminar.

Reset DoC Venice Seminar 2014 was organized by Reset (Dialogues of Civilisations) in collaboration with the Alain Daniélou Foundation, Giorgio Cini Foundation, the Islamic University of Delhi, Seminar Magazine and the University of Padua.

As a main partner institution for the 2014 edition, The Alain Daniélou Foundation also organised a performance by the talented Bharatanatyam master Leela Samson, and a group of musicians in the prestigious Malibran Theatre in Venice on the 8th of November 2014. Leela Samson was accompanied by the two dancers Indu Nidheesh and Nidheesh Kumar, the vocalist Arun Gopinath vocalist and musicians B.K. Sankaran (nattuvangam), M. S. Subramanian (mrindangam), S. Natarajan (violin). The performance was organised in collaboration with Compagnia Točna Danza.
From Friday 7th November to Sunday 10th Leela Samson was the guest teacher at Gamaka Cultural Association for a 3 days Bharatanatyam dance workshop.
