50 ANS À COLLE LABIRINTO

On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Harsharan Foundation in Zagarolo, a daylong celebration was held, dedicated to its founder Alain Daniélou by paying homage to the many significant personalities that have been part of its long history. A photography exhibition was organised featuring many photographs of India and Zagarolo, some of which previously unpublished. Among the many persons also featuring in the exhibition, we mention King Mohammed Zair Shah of Afghanistan, the choreographer Maurice Béjart, the actress Ursula Andress, and the composer Sylvano Bussotti.
The day celebration ended with a Bharata Natyam dance performance with Raghunat Manet (dance, veena),
Nivita Bergen (dance), Therese Mercy Flassayer (dance) and Ahmed Khan Latif (tabla).
