« Etudiants en exil : enjeux et dynamiques inclusives »
Since 2019, the Mens network (Migrants in Higher Education) and the ADCUEFE (Association des Directeurs des Centres Universitaires d’Études françaises pour Étrangers) have led the approval of a new university diploma: the DU Passerelle. This program gives students in exile access to French as a Foreign Language training, and provides them with support in various aspects of their integration into university life, as well as in their daily social and cultural lives.
Our laboratory, LIDILE (Linguistics – Engineering – Didactics of Languages), is structured around a didactic axis, DILEM (Didactics of Languages and Multimedia), whose activities focus on issues of inclusion through language and in the language classroom.
Our research into identity, travel and migration has led us to study the work of Alain Daniélou, and to contribute to the activities of the Alain Daniélou Foundation – FAD – which promotes his work and its reception in the contemporary world.
His singular, visionary approach to inclusion through profession, language and in-depth knowledge of the host country provides us with food for thought in our questioning.
We are therefore delighted to offer a multi-disciplinary day bringing together teacher-researchers, professionals and students to discuss the question of inclusive dynamics implemented for and by students in exile. The study day will be preceded by a thematic evening at the Arvor cinema, where a writing workshop will be held, followed by a screening of the film Même si tu vas sur la lune and a discussion with the film crew.
